Part-Time Voluntary Opportunity - Legal Researcher / Assistant
Chaudhry Legal was established in October 2015 and is a general practice with particular emphasis on civil and criminal matters as well as family and immigration law.
Rajendra Chaudhry is the principal of Chaudhry Legal. He holds a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Economics from Massey University, Palmerston North (1991) and a Bachelor of Laws, University of New South Wales (2005) and regularly appears New Zealand and Australian courts and tribunals.
Prior to setting up his New Zealand practice Rajendra Chaudhry was practising law in Australia and Fiji dating back to 2005.
Chaudhry Legal is seeking a candidate who will be tasked with:
- Undertaking legal research
- Preparing legal documents and letters under supervision
- Undertaking other aspects of work relative to a law practice
- Attending to court filing
- Attending court with the Principal
This role is mainly a shadowing opportunity.
The successful candidate will be a student who takes initiative and is willing to learn.
Chaudhry Legal is based in Manukau so travel will be required for some applicants.
