**POSITION FILLED** Volunteer Work Experience Opportunity - Criminal Law Practice
Margaret Sewell and Rupert Glover are two of Christchurch's most senior criminal barristers, now working almost exclusively in jury trials.
Griffin Chambers is looking to offer a volunteer work experience opportunity to a law student keen to develop a practical knowledge of criminal law practice and procedure. The student will be offered the chance to observe in this Law Practice, and possibly to do some legal research, as well as to come to grips with the peculiarities of the Criminal Procedure Act and to observe working with criminal clients and the Crown. A genuine interest in criminal law and the law of evidence is essential.
The role start date is from the end of September/early October for a duration of up to 4 weeks.
