ADLS mourns the sudden passing of Kay Keam and the loss to her family and the legal profession
ADLS is saddened to learn that Kay Keam, Partner at Mertelli McKegg, passed away unexpectedly on 2 December 2019.
Kay was a keen and highly valued contributor to ADLS through her voluntary service as member and past convenor of the ADLS Documents and Precedents Committee, and member of the ADLS Property Law Committee. As both a highly respected member of the profession, her passing comes as a widespread loss to, her family, to ADLS, and the legal profession.
Kay had not long completed her LLM (with honours), further demonstrating her commitment and strive to better herself. She is remembered for her constant teaching and inspiration that she offered to partners at her firm and young lawyers alike.
Kay will be dearly missed and always remembered for the great lawyer and person that she was. ADLS offers sympathies to those close to her whether family, friends, or colleagues, and we offer support where possible during this time.
We remember the person Kay was, and the positive impact she had during an immensely valued tenure in the profession.
