11 OCT 2017 17:30 - CHANCERY CHAMBERS, AUCKLAND CENTRAL
The ADLS and Auckland University Student Buddy Evening is now at capacity. If you would like to add your name to a waitlist please contact email@example.com
ADLS, in association with the Auckland University Law Students Society (AULSS), invites Young Lawyers practicing in Auckland to register for the Young Lawyer & Student Buddy Evening. This event offers young lawyers the opportunity to become a mentor to a final year law student.
Mentoring is one of the most significant ways that a young lawyer can help a law student prepare for their entry into the profession. An hour or two of your time each month can be a rewarding experience for you and a great support to students as they face important decisions that may influence their legal career.
If you are interested in participating in this event and becoming a mentor, ADLS will match you with a student who you will meet on the night over drinks and canapes. We will provide you with a brief overview on mentoring to support you in building your mentoring relationship.
The students from the University of Auckland Law School would really appreciate your participation in this initiative.
