Synopsis

This webinar is a general outline of recent health and safety case law.

Focusing on cases that dealt with key issues in this area such as defining the parameters of a victim, setting the bands, non-jail custodial sentence, alternate sentencing orders, reparation and public policy approach to charitable organisations.

We will also address the issue of consequential financial loss and the statutory shortfall approach adopted by the Courts.
