Grant is a partner with the law firm Buddle Findlay. He specialises in corporate and commercial law and has over 20 years' experience, including 6 years at the London office of a US law firm. 

Grant has broad international experience in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and partnerships, regulatory consent processes, corporate governance matters, securities offerings and strategic commercial contracts, including distribution and agency agreements.

His practice spans a wide range of import/export industries including IT, food and beverage, health and agriculture.

He has advised a number of New Zealand and offshore based clients on their international expansion aspirations, including brands such as Allpress, Navman, Online Republic and Mudhouse Wines to name a few.  

Craig Armstrong

Craig is Director - Customers at New Zealand Trade & Enterprise, whose role it is to help NZ businesses grow into international markets. He also has 20 years’ global Board and Executive experience with Lion Nathan, Cadbury Schweppes, Hunterskil Howard, CPLG, National Foods and HJ Heinz.

He has founded and since exited two start-up businesses, and is a Board Member of the NZ Product Accelerator, where businesses are being assisted to commercialise new design concepts, manufacturing methods and material interfaces across key NZ industry sectors.

He is a member of the MBIE College of Assessors for the Endeavour Fund, New Zealand’s largest science investment fund. He is a graduate of Massey University (NZ), and of Thunderbird School of Global Management executive programme (Arizona, USA).
