Here is a great opportunity to join the in house team of a stellar Australasian corporate, which has multiple business operations in both New Zealand and Australia. In this newly created role you won’t be sitting behind a desk for long! With multi-site operations, you will be responsible for delivering timely and practical legal advice across the various businesses, to help them achieve their commercial objectives. You will be working with a wide range of people from the Plant to Senior Management and the scope of the work is broad, including; projects, corporate, commercial, environmental, H&S, employment, litigation and more. You’ll also manage delivery from external legal counsel.
To be successful in the role, you will have at least 5-6 years experience with strong grounding in corporate/commercial law. You will possess a common sense approach, commercial acumen and have the flexibility to juggle and prioritise a wide range of tasks. Strong relationship building ability and highly developed communication skills, as well as intellectual agility are also required.
