United Kingdom Parliament
This site is divided into three parts:
- UK Parliament - welcome page which provides information on the UK parliament, Daily Business, Parliament Live, parliamentary publications and archive as well as links to Bills before Parliament, Hansard and Judicial Work.
- House of Commons - includes a What's On feature, News, Hansard which can be searched or browsed by Daily Debates or Bound Volumes, Questions and Bills Before Parliament.
- House of Lords - includes a What's On feature, News, Hansard for Daily Debates, Bound Volumes and Weekly Indexes. The House of Lords Hansard can also be browsed according to Bill, Committee, Delegated Legislation, Questions and Royal Assents. This page also provides information on the Judicial Work of the House of Lords including Practice Directions, Appeal Committee Reports, Future Judicial Business and judgments.
Department for Constitutional Affairs
Link to the Civil Procedure Rules, information about administration of legal aid, complaints procedures, legislation reform programmes, the appointment of legal officers. Sentencing Advisory Panel
The Sentencing Advisory Panel advises on sentencing guidelines for particular offences or categories of offences, and other sentencing issues. The site provides access to the Court of Appeal Sentencing Guidelines which include generic sentencing principles and for sentencing guidelines for specific offences.
