Hugh was appointed CEO of DLA Phillips Fox in 2010. He has 20 years management experience in professional service firms in the finance, health and legal service industries. Before joining DLAPF, he was CEO of Auckland Crown firm Meredith Connell for eleven years and has presented at many legal and Professional Service Firms (PSF) conferences on the specific challenges inherent in PSF management.

Hugh's major focus is planning for the future development of the firm as a business, helping partners define the proposition of the firm so they can promote, explain and differentiate the legal offering of DLA Phillips Fox to the market.
