The Property Law Committee is comprised of practitioners who have extensive experience in property related matters. The Committee meets monthly and considers the following matters which are of a property law nature:

• Reports published by the Law Commission which propose law reform.
• Bills currently before Parliament and Select Committees. 
• Preparing submissions to the Law Commission and/or Select Committees. 
• Providing feedback input to the Property Law Section of the New Zealand Law Society. 
• Receiving comments and suggestions from practitioners and where applicable acting on those matters.
• Liaising with banks and financial institutions to ensure that the interests of practitioners is properly represented and advanced.
• Preparing articles for publication in Law News on topical matters. 
• Identifying topics of interest for CLE Seminars

The Committee welcomes feedback from practitioners which should be addressed to the Committee’s Secretary.
