The ADLS Commercial Law Committee encourages ADLS members to actively use its services.

Prior to 2007, the work of the Committee was carried out by the then Property and Business Law Committee.

The objective of the Commercial Law Committee is to inform and educate, and to act as a conduit to and as the voice of ADLS members on commercial law matters. To enable the Committee to be effective, ADLS members need to know they can and should approach the Committee if they think we can add value.

While the Committee will routinely monitor law reform, legislative proposals and issues affecting members, the Committee expects to work with ADLS members. The Committee welcomes suggestions from ADLS members. The Committee is particularly interested in issues affecting members within its geographic region. The Committee can often effectively deal with issues affecting a wide number of practitioners. The Committee also works closely with other ADLS Committees including the CLE Committee.
